Whole Genome Sequencing Equipment Request For Bid
The New Jersey Department of Agriculture (NJDA), Animal Health Diagnostic Laboratory (AHDL) participates in implementing Animal Feed Regulatory Program Standards (AFRPS) in co-operation with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Laboratory results are used by regulatory agencies to take regulatory action such as animal food recall. Currently, the laboratory performs Salmonella and Listeria testing on animal feed using traditional bacterial culture methods. The laboratory is expanding its capability to include whole genome sequencing of the food-borne and clinical isolates. The AHDL is soliciting bids for a whole genome sequencing equipment (MiniSeq) and accessories as described below. Equipment MiniSeq Sequencing System is an integrated system for automated generation of DNA clonal clusters by bridge amplification, sequencing, and analysis. System includes embedded touch screen monitor and on- instrument computer, MiniSeq Control Software, Local Run Manager analysis and management software, installation and training, and 12 months warranty including parts and labor. 120 VAC, 50/60 HZ Support Plan Additional year of silver level support plan that includes full coverage for parts, labor, and travel; Reagent replacement upon HW failures; 1 PM; Remote Technical Support 18x5; 2 business day on-site response target*; control SW and HW updates; on- site applications support.
